Mexican family in Tokyo

For celebrating the anniversary of mother’s 80 years old, the daughters invited her to visit Japan. While using a wheel-chair to walk around, the mother was very active and enjoyed the trip though it was hot and humid.  For lunch, they ate Sushi, highly appreciating Sushi of Uni (sea urchin) and OOTORO (fattiest tuna) which are very expensive. At the tourist information center, they experienced wearing Kimono for free and took a photo.

Katya, Fedya, and Vika・・・It was exactly one month ago that I met these three single Muscovites.

*  As the young people were interested in design, architecture, and painting, I took them to the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo in Takebashi first thing in the morning.  It was after the Meiji Restoration (1867) that Japanese people learned Western painting from traditional art such as Japanese painting and ukiyo-e. They liked the quiet and warm space where ink paintings and oil paintings were exhibited, and they carefully traced the genealogy of Japanese art from modern to contemporary times. Brazilian businesswoman spent 2 days in Tokyo

Due to short stay, we covered the main touristic points in Tokyo. Ohtemachi business district - Palacio Imperial - Meiji-Shrine – Harajuku, Shibuya and Fukagawa-Edo-Museum.  She was impressed with the contrast of new and old aspect of Tokyo at Ohtemachi and the way of living in Edo Era at the museum.

Italian nice guys enjoyed east side of Tokyo.

Italian nice guys explored Asakusa, Tsukiji, Monzennakachyo, Kiyosumishirakawa area and Imperial Palace. Finally they went to Tokyo station to buy Shinkansen ticket and Hokuriku pass. We were a little bit confused to buy tickets at different JR companies.

A lovely couple enjoying Tokyo and Hakone.

They had a valuable experience driving around Shibuya on Go-Karts and then visited Meiji Jingu Shrine. They experienced both the modern side of Tokyo and a touch of authentic Japanese culture. The next day, they visited Hakone and enjoyed its beautiful natural scenery.
