Two South African visited Japan to support the South Africa rugby team. As courtesy, the monk of Myoshoji Temple prayed for the health and happiness of the gentlemen as well as the victory of the South Africa rugby team. After Buddhist devotions, a commemorative photo was taken.

Tourists from the U.S.A. enjoyed being exposed to traditional Japanese culture

We visited Edo Taito Shitamachi Crafts Center. They enjoyed Hina doll (a doll displayed at the Girl’s Festival in Japan), tortoiseshell accessories, and other traditional Japanese crafts. At Kappabashi, they were interested in Japanese bamboo-made chopsticks and table mats made of Japanese paper.

Yanaka Ginza is one of the most popular sightseeing spots not only among foreign visitors but also Japanese people. There are so many old-fashioned stores. We also visited antique market at Tokyo International Forum and were surprised by the cost of a tiny glass which is 80,000 yen. Unbelievable!

At the Origami Kaikan, we saw a lot of works and were impressed by their beauty. There are many young sumo wrestlers around Ryogoku Station. We also learned about the history of Tokyo at Edo Tokyo Museum. There is a beautiful garden in Ryogoku. The couple from California were able to make many wonderful memories in just one day. A Honeymoon in Japan

A couple from America enjoyed a very first day of ‘honeymoon in Japan’ at Kiyosumi garden, Fukagawa fudouson and Asakusa followed by Ueno. They took fortune slips at Fukagawa fudouson.The results were Daikichi(Great blessing) and Chukichi(blessing).It seemed that the principal deity of worship was celebrating their marriage.
