Holiday in Japan for the first time in a while
Especially the lady used to live in Urayasu for a couple of years as an English teacher. It seems that everything has brought back memories of her experiences those days.
A Visit to Kamakura
We enjoyed the contrast between the sky and the green of the trees and the great quiet Buddha statue.
Tourists from the U.S.A. enjoyed being exposed to traditional Japanese culture
We visited Edo Taito Shitamachi Crafts Center. They enjoyed Hina doll (a doll displayed at the Girl’s Festival in Japan), tortoiseshell accessories, and other traditional Japanese crafts. At Kappabashi, they were interested in Japanese bamboo-made chopsticks and table mats made of Japanese paper.
At Yanaka ginza for some beers, Cheers! Kanpai
Yanaka Ginza is one of the most popular sightseeing spots not only among foreign visitors but also Japanese people. There are so many old-fashioned stores. We also visited antique market at Tokyo International Forum and were surprised by the cost of a tiny glass which is 80,000 yen. Unbelievable!
We guided a couple from California in Kashiwa City of Chiba
The couple chose to visit Kashiwa City on the 4th day of their 2-week stay in Japan.
