Tetsuo guided two Russian guests around Tokyo and Kamakura in October. He received a thank you email from them, which we'd like to share here.

Dear Tatsuo-san!

We want to express our deepest gratitude for the incredible warmth and hospitality you showed us during our visit to Japan. Meeting you was, without a doubt, one of the brightest and most memorable highlights of our trip.

A special thank you for the wonderful textile street, for introducing us to the art of kimono, and for the heartfelt conversations that warmed us more than any sunshine. Thanks to you, Kamakura has become for us not just a point on the map, but a true place of power, a place our hearts will now always yearn to return to.

We are endlessly impressed by your astounding command of the Russian language, your wisdom, thoughtfulness, and profound erudition. Our conversations with you were a true highlight of our days in Japan and allowed us to genuinely connect with the history, culture and traditions of your country.

The sweets we bought on your recommendation still delight us with the sweet taste of Japan and the pleasant "emotional aftertaste" of our time together.

The greatest gift for us was, of course, the opportunity to spend time with you. Please take care of yourself! We are already dreaming of our next meeting happening as soon as possible.

With deepest gratitude and warmest regards,
