We received thank-you emails from three Americans whom Tsune and Yoshi guided around Tokyo, so we'd like to share them.

Dear Mr. Tsune,

Mike, Lucy and I can't thank you and Yoshi enough for the wonderful guiding you did for us in Tokyo on 10/2/25. You showed us so many interesting places and got our Japan vacation off to the perfect start. The garden, the Pokemon center, Shibuya Crossing, the dog statue and the traditional lunch was much more than we could have done on our own.

We had an excellent time at Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea (although it rained a lot that day). Our cruise started off normally from Yokohama port to Mount Fuji (where I got a clear shot of the mountain before breakfast, after which it disappeared behind clouds the rest of the day), then Typhoon Halong was headed our way so the captain took the ship around the country counterclockwise instead of clockwise. All our tours/plans were thrown out the window and we just planned what we would see in each port city on the fly, starting at Hakodate and followed by Aomori, Busan, Hiroshima, Kochi and Kobe. Thanks to your guidance we were able to navigate the buses, trams, trains and taxis to see at least two sights in each city, and for a lot less yen than the tours would have been. We only took an organized Viator tour in Busan, as we didn't want to have to figure out how to get around in South Korea, and that was a wonderful experience. At Kobe we took the Shinkasen to Kyoto (totally last-minute idea, but something Mike was really wanting to do; he loves trains) to walk through the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and climb a pretty high hill to Monkey Park and then took a taxi to the Golden Pavilion. How beautiful! Lucy did all the navigating on some app and got us exactly where we needed to go.

At Narita Airport there was another Pokemon store (a lot less crowded than the Tokyo one) and we got the few things for the grandkids we couldn't find at the other store.

We had the absolute BEST time in Japan! We love the country and its people and the cleanliness of the streets and the safety you feel there. Except for two weeks of jet lag that interrupted our sleep, which we are over now, we are so happy we went to Japan and asked for a Goodwill guide!
