We held the first guide training session of this fiscal year.
A guide training session was held in Asakusa and Ueno bythe veteran guide, with nine members participating. They were able to hear interesting and in-depth historical stories while seeing stone monuments and shops, as well as slightly different routes that they usually guide.
They visited Asakusa Kannon Street, the Great Bell, the inner sanctuary of Sensoji Temple, the Shinmon Tatsugoro stone monument behind Asakusa Shrine, and the lovers' sanctuary on the Sumida River Walk, and heard stories that will be useful for future guides. Furthermore, in Ueno, they were able to learn in detail about the great changes that have taken place at Kanei-ji Temple and the changes to the mausoleum of the Tokugawa Shoguns.
